Description

Jean-Louis Barrault (French, 1910–1994) was a French actor, Director and Mime.

Eduardo Vernazza (Uruguayan, 1910–1991) recorded his impressions of the world’s great musicians, singers and dancers in brilliant, deft sketches made during live performance. He developed some of sketches from pencil to lithograph with even greater intensity of bravura, calligraphic line. The lithographic sketches offered here were made in the late 1930s and early 40s.
