Amen, Irving

Irving Amen (1918–2011) won a scholarship to Pratt Institute at age 14, and later studied at The Art Student’s League and Academy Grande Chaumiere in Paris. Amen exhibited frequently in museums and galleries around the word.

His art often includes themes of Jewish life, and always conveys a warm and positive humanity.
