Description
Technique: water-soluble pastel colors (usually Caran D’Ache NeoArt) applied to plastic plate. These solid, semi-opaque colors show a little more body in the finished print than etching ink would. They cannot be applied exactly the same from print to print, so instead the artist deliberately varies their application, achieving very different results. This is a slow, risky procedure, and more prints are rejected and destroyed than signed and offered for sale.
Stephen Fieser (American, born 1955) is a graphic artist producing prints, drawings, illustration and design. His primary pictorial subject is the human figure.
