Description

The subject is Guiseppe Donato’s beautiful sculptural fountain “Dance of Eternal Spring.” The fountain was commissioned by chocolate producer Milton Hershey for his grand hotel in the town bearing his name. Hershey regarded the final result as obscene, and a court battle over payment followed. Ultimately Hershey gave the work to the city of Harrisburg, where it is the focal point of an Italianate lake and park.

Stephen Fieser (American, born 1955) is a graphic artist producing prints, drawings, illustration and design. His primary pictorial subject is the human figure.
