Description

Publisher’s and printer’s blind stamps in bottom left corner of sheet (Circle Gallery + American Atelier)

From the publisher’s documentation sheet (included with print):

The artist created the plates for the edition by drawing directly onto textured mylar surfaces with a variety of substances including ink, lithographic pencils and liquid tusche. These completed hand-drawn mylars were then chemically transferred onto emulsion-coated aluminum lithographic plates at The American Atelier in New York.

Proofs were pulled and corrections made and approved by the artist. The entire edition was then pulled–one color at a time–under the supervision of Technical Director, Mauro Guiffreda, at The American Atelier.

Each print in the edition was then inspected and signed by hand, in pencil, by the artist in New York, NY.
