Description

Yehudi Menuhin (American-born, 1916–1999) spent most of his performing career in Britain. He is widely considered one of the greatest violinists of the 20th century. (Wikipedia)

Eduardo Vernazza (Uruguayan, 1910–1991) recorded his impressions of the world’s great musicians, singers and dancers in brilliant, deft sketches made during live performance. He developed some of sketches from pencil to lithograph with even greater intensity of bravura, calligraphic line. The lithographic sketches offered here were made in the 1930s and early 40s.
